Hey Reader, National Ice Cream Day is coming up on July 20, and honestly, I don’t need much convincing to celebrate. I'm not one for all the "made up" holidays, but this one? I'm all in. This summer has been ridiculously hot, and I love having these in my back pocker - or in my freezer. These recipes are fun to make, taste amazing, and are just the thing to keep everyone smiling though this hot and sticky season. Scoopable Treats Worth Making Again and AgainI go back to this No-Churn Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream every summer because it only takes 15 minutes to mix and tastes like way more effort. No ice cream maker needed, just a freezer and a spoon. Cookie Dough Frozen Custard is my secret when I want something rich and kid-approved. It’s smooth, packed with (safely edible) dough chunks, and tastes better than anything from the store. I didn’t expect to like Avocado Ice Cream, but now it’s one of my favorites when I want something cold and creamy without it being too sweet. I dare you to try it! I love ice cream in a cone, so I learned how to make these Homemade Waffle Cones, and I'm so glad I figured out the secret. They make ice cream taste better, no joke. Ice cream is always a good idea, but these recipes make it feel extra fun. What's your go to flavor?
